Background

My early work experience in Papua New Guinea in 1972 prepared me for an anthropological view of human behaviour, particularly in organisations. This notion certainly informed my post-University career in a range of HR assignments including Organisation Development, Management Training, Psychometric Testing and Selection, and Work and Salary Evaluation for companies in the Mining and Energy sectors (1976-1981).

However, the work of shifting tribal boundaries (now called culture change) can be politically hazardous! So, following a career break as a professional actor, I studied Naturopathy and went on to conduct several profitable practices in Naturopathic Clinical Medicine and Counselling Psychology as both a Practitioner and a Company Director, developing an expertise in mind-body medicine (1981-1997). This led to a series of successful engagements in Sales Management, Research, Marketing, Training and Presentation for Natural Pharmaceutical companies in Australia and North America (1996-2000). In 1999 I was acknowledged as a “pioneer” in Complementary Medicine in Australia at the Fifth International Symposium in Functional Medicine.

Since undertaking post-graduate studies in Coaching Psychology at the University of Sydney (2000-2004) I have returned to Organisation Change Consultancy and Psychotherapy with a unique perspective on Leadership drawing from Positive Psychology, Neurobiology, and Complexity Theory.

I believes successful action in any endeavour flows inevitably from clear and conscious intention. My highest intention is eliciting wisdom in leadership for planetary survival.
